Los Roques Bonefishing - The greatest wade fishing experience!
With white sand, turtle grass, and pancake flats, the waters of Los Roques offer the wading angler tremendous variety in which to pursue tailing or cruising bonefish. Averaging 4 pounds, the bonefish draw most of the attention on the islands. However, shots at tarpon, permit, jacks, and barracuda are also real possibilities. Speak with Rachel and your guide about pursuing these species and take advantage of everything Los Roques offers!
Gran Roque, the largest island of the archipelago, is home to 1,500 residents, 2 trucks, and the beautiful Acuarela Lodge. Located just steps from beach, the lodge will serve as a tranquil base camp for your stay. After a great day on the flats, staff will serve an exceptional four-course dinner showcasing a mix of regional seafood, pasta, and meat dishes.
Expansive, clear water flats, knee-deep wading, sightcasting, big bonefish, and everything that swims just off the edge takes Los Roques from one of the world’s best bonefish destinations to one of the best saltwater destinations. Chris Y and his team of experienced guides welcome you to Venezuela and a true fly fishing adventure in the salt.
